Leith Walk has a plethora of coffee shops and little cafes where you can grab some breakfast. There are numerous quality restaurants within minutes of the apartment, as well as a lovely selection of pubs to choose from, modern and traditional.
There are five Michelin Star Restaurants close by, The Kitchin and Martin Wishart can be found at The Shore area in Leith, these along with The Plumed Horse, are all a few minutes in a taxi, while Number One and 21212 are within 10 minute walking distance.

Broughton Street has many award winning bars as well as Crombie's Butchers and Real Foods. Valvona and Crolla at the top of Leith walk is a wonderful Italian deli - a must for any foodies.
Cannonmills and Stockbridge are within easy reach and both have some lovely independent retailers on their respective parades.
Princes Street and George Street have all the usual highstreet names you would expect.
Things to do on your visit to Edinburgh, The Botanical Gardens, (The Hopetoun Village development has been built on the site of the Botanical Gardens from 1763 - 1820), Inverleith Park, Royal Yacht Britannia, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Scottish Parliment, Arthur's seat and Holyrood Park.
Shopping - Multrees Walk hosting brands such as Louis Vuitton, Emporio Armani, Mulberry and Calvin Klein, with Harvey Nichols anchoring the development, Edinburgh is also home to the famous Jenners, John Lewis and the new Ocean Terminal.
